The Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Association of Greater Chicago was founded in 1986, as a nonprofit, tax exempt, non-political, secular, charitable, educational, social and cultural organization for the alumni and well-wishers of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
The AMU Alumni Association (AMUAA) organizes social activities, community enrichment and literary programs.
